I didn’t add the thyme because the last chicken salad recipe I tried had me add some herb, couldn’t remember what I just remembered it tasted like licorice, and it ruined it. I pinned this in my whisk app and it will be my next GO TO! Promise to photo my sammy and tag you on insta!!

I’m thrilled to hear it, Candice! And for sure … there’s no need to save this little gem just for after Thanksgiving. ANYtime you’ve got leftover turkey (or even chicken), this is a perfect solution. So very glad you enjoyed it – thanks for the lovely feedback! ~Shelley

And in my case, to repurpose dinner from a few nights ago. So delicious, so flavorful, and will be making this one again!

Thanks bunches, Aleta – I’m so happy you loved it! I very often make mine with chicken, too. But no doubt, you’ll be craving this after Thanksgiving, for sure! 😉 ~Shelley

Such a great way to use up leftover Turkey. I tried mine with chicken and it was incredible! Love the cranberries and apples, looking forward to making a massive batch after thanksgiving!

You’re so welcome, Jason! It’s such a delicious change of pace from the usual leftover turkey solutions. And don’t forget that you can easily make it all year ’round with leftover chicken (or rotisserie chicken), too! ~Shelley
