It went very well. It was a cold night so a hearty chowder and cornbread were perfect. I made 3 1/3 recipes, added more chicken and cut my own potatoes and onions (it’s cheaper) but otherwise followed the recipe. I got lots of complements. Thanks again.

To answer your question, since this soup makes a large batch, you’ll need a 6-quart slow cooker for each batch you make. (So, to triple the recipe, you’ll need three of them.)
